Job Summary/Essential Job Functions: Under the supervision of the Director of Parking Services, the Senior Fee Control Clerk provides the campus community with parking and information concerning the location of various parking lots. This position also performs accounting and related clerical duties in connection with the receipt, and recording and account distribution of parking tickets, student and faculty/staff lot assignments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives parking ticket payments through the mail, across the counter, and Debt Hearing.
Locates original parking ticket, receive money and validate ticket with date, amount paid receipt number.
Maintains and accounts for daily receipts with follow-ups on checks returned for insufficient funds.
Sorts, counts, enters profits of the lots garages and meters.
Checks and replenishes four pay stations.
Provides Faculty/staff arrangements for payroll deductions of outstanding tickets and post payment.
Processes faculty/staff, student, and non- UT appeals.
Provides information on policies and procedures, fee requirements, and actions in case of non-payments.
Maintains inventory of outgoing and incoming ticket books issued to and received from Campus Police officers.
Enters and file parking applications for staff, students, and others.
Links customers associated with unidentified citations based on information from NCIC.
