Police Captain (Internal Search)
Alabama State University, Department of Public Safety, invites applications for Police Captain. Under the general supervision, the Police Captain will supervise and direct a large force patrolling assigned areas of the campus, on a multiple shift basis, to protect and guard property or persons form fire, theft, trespass or other hazards. The work involves supervising the regulation of activities of the student body, faculty, staff and general public, and includes performing public relations duties. The assigned work also involves the training of lower level security and police officers, and may include supervising a shift to provide for optimum security.
