Police Officer - Full Time/ Rotation
Job SummaryResponsible for maintaining safety and security for an assigned area. Maintains safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees; conducts routine patrols of assigned areas to keep property and persons free from risk; meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned area. Responds to emergencies, fire alarms, hazardous material incidents. Deals with conflict, confrontation, and stressful situations on a routine basis. Establishes a uniformed police presence by patrolling Geisinger property to deter criminal activity, investigate criminal events, document activities, and take appropriate police action when necessary and within the scope of Geisinger policy. Must be physically able to provide the essential services
