Deputy Chief of Police
The City of Bartow is seeking a highly experienced law enforcement officer to join our team as Deputy Chief of Police. This is a management position that will play a vital role in the Police Department and the City as a whole. Job Summary: Performs immediate professional and responsible administrative work providing administrative and management assistance to the Chief of Police. Work is performed under the supervision of the Chief of Police. This is work which involves walking, running, and/or standing, exerting up to one hundred fifty (150) pounds of force intermittently, routine keyboard operations, the ability to continuously wear/carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment, the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds of force frequently
