Overview Characteristic Duties Supervises the day-to-day activities of department personnel and ensures the efficient operation of the department. Reviews submitted reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and professionalism. Includes the proper classification of said reports with respect to requirements of the National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) and the Illinois Uniform Crime Report (IUCR). Determines status of reports submitted regarding investigation, referral. and/or closure.
