Under the administrative supervision of the Dispatch Supervisor and the operational supervision of the shift supervisor, the Telecommunicator provides all communication functions, information, and reporting support for the Police Department. Keep records, logs, and schedules of the calls received and actions taken utilizing a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management System (RMS). Handles all emergency and non-emergency telephone calls for the Police Department at all three Harper College Campuses: Palatine, Prospect Heights, and Schaumburg.
