Position Purpose: The Oakland University Police Department is a fully sworn law enforcement agency and authorized to employ full-time police officers from state certified police academies. The Department offers special assignments including, evidence technicians, Field Training Officers (FTO's), Bike Patrol, Firearms Instructors, and multiple Community Engagement activities etc. The Oakland University Police Department is currently seeking qualified applicants for full-time position(s) for police officers. Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Police, police officers are responsible for the service, safety, and security of all University properties, faculty, staff, students, guests and visitors during their assigned shift.Minimum Qualifi
