Job Summary/Basic Function: The Parking Support Technician provides clerical support to the Chief of Police and the police department, including typing, filing, reception desk, and all phone, written, and personal contacts to the department. The Parking Support Technician reports to the Investigative & Administrative Sections (I&AS) Supervisor and serves as the operational and technological point person for all parking and records management of the University Police. The Parking Support Technician performs a variety of routine and complex duties, handling each independently based on initial verbal or written instructions. Assignments are given on a project basis by an administrative supervisor and are reviewed for the adherence to instructions, plans, and standards
