Overview The College of Pharmacy invites applications for a clinical faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
The successful candidate will need to have earned a PharmD and completed a residency. The position requires didactic teaching and course coordination, precepting and teaching of APPE students, fostering interdisciplinary research, and participating in academic and service responsibilities at the College and University. Preference will be given to applicants with didactic teaching and research experience.
Responsibilities
Faculty will be responsible for delivery of a portion of the curriculum and participation in its development.
Faculty will teach Touro University students on campus as part of that curriculum.
Faculty will provide service on College and University committees, attendance and participation in departmental meetings and will perform other faculty duties as appropriate.
Faculty will contribute to new knowledge through research activities, presentations, publications, obtaining grants and/or contracts, clinical trials and other scholarly work.
Faculty will provide reports and other documents as requested by department chairs, directors and deans.
Faculty will practice as a clinical pharmacist in compliance with the job description of the site.

Qualifications
Doctoral degree in pharmacy and/or related academic discipline
Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a pharmacist in the state of California
At least one year of post-doctoral training, or equivalent
Experience with a Doctor of Pharmacy program with a clinical pharmacy background is preferred
