Description
The Department of Public Safety at the University of Tennessee at Martin is currently accepting applications for a Senior Police Dispatcher.
Job Duties:
* Operate and supervise the communication branch of the department to include the police radio, campus police emergency lines, campus operator lines, police computer log of activities, issuance of equipment, lost and found procedures, and receive and disseminate information in both emergency and non-emergency situations.
* Hire, train, schedule, and monitor/supervise student dispatchers to ensure the communications branch of the department is positioned and operational at all times.
* Provide continuous in-service training for student dispatchers to insure proficiency and professionalism of the communications operation.
* Other related duties as directed.
