The City of Westerville, Ohio is seeking a proven law enforcement professional with outstanding leadership qualities to serve as its next Police Chief. This sworn management position reports directly to the City Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of all Police Division operations. The division has a 112 member staff (76 sworn, 30 civilian, 6 part-time) and a budget of $16.2 million.
The Chief of Police must possess the leadership, educational and technical skills to serve this premiere, central Ohio, suburban community of 39,000 residents. The City of Westerville Police Division is a highly regarded, comprehensive law enforcement agency that provides a full complement of law enforcement services in a professional, efficient and responsive manner.
