Under the General Supervision of the DFA ITS Director and UCI PD Lt for Strategic Services, serve as the UCI PD?s Information Security and Information Systems Coordinator.
As the UCI PD Information Systems Coordinator, operate and manage the UCI PD's body/car camera system, and coordinate with others in UCI PD, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and vendors to support the effective operation, maintenance and management of all essential information systems/services used by the UCI PD.
As the UCI PD Information Security Coordinator, work in coordination with UCI PD leadership, the OIT Security Team, the campus Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and other OIT groups to facilitate maintenance and implementation of a robust information security program within UCI PD. Conduct and coordinate the standard activities expected of all UCI campus Information Security Coordinators as well as additional activities required for applicable Federal, State, UC and UCI PD policy compliance.
Must be able to communicate clearly with officers, staff and management within UCI PD, OIT and other campus units including verbal and written communication. Must be able to interpret (and work with others to interpret) complex policies and regulations, translate into local procedures, document local procedures/guidelines and help assure compliance.

Salary: Range $59,623.00 - $80,000.00 Total Hours: 8-5, M-F Career Position. Establish and maintain DOJ clearance. Must possess a valid CA Driver's License and participate in DMV Pull Notice Program.
