Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a valid supervisory California Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) certificate are required. Additionally, five years of supervisory experience in a California municipality or county law enforcement agency at the level of Sergeant or above is preferred.
