The campus police officer is responsible for insuring the security and safety of all campus buildings, persons, and property, assistance in crisis management, enforcement of the rules and regulations of the university, enforcement of federal, state, and local laws, and maintaining incident documentation.
Education Required Baccalaureate Minimum Related Experience Level Required 1-2 years experience Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position
Bachelor's degree, Act 120 training and certification, with prior law enforcement experience. Certified in first aid and CPR certification (or obtains within set time period). Valid PA Driver's license, provide successful evaluation for duty with a current physical exam for CPO , and provide successful assessment and evaluation of psychological exam and testing.
The specific minimum requirements, or combination thereof, are necessary because of the nature of the working environment and the clientele.
Successful completion and results of Criminal Background Investigation and Credit History check.
Child Protection Clearances

Police Officers work various shifts, i.e., 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., and possible cross coverage.
